In December 2024, the team at Renewal by Andersen of Chicago donated and installed 41 windows as part of a larger renovation project at a residence owned by Boys Hope Girls Hope of Illinois. The home will house 8 Scholars along with 3 BHGH Residential Supervisors. Boys Hope Girls Hope is a non-profit organization that helps motivated middle and high school students rise above disadvantaged backgrounds and prepare for post-secondary education and productive life. BHGH supports this mission by providing housing, a college prep education, and many resources to help their scholars break barriers and become community-minded leaders. In 2025, 32 students are participating in the year-round program, a 33% increase from the year prior! Mike Matkowich, General Manager of Renewal by Andersen's Chicago Branch said "One of the most important things we do is help people. If we can make good things happen, we get a lot of people [in our community] raising their hand willing to help."
